Senior Technical Product Manager to own the data acquisition strategy, processing roadmap, and caching/curation layer for Going's flight data, which powers its core products. Leads a cross-functional team of senior Data and Backend Engineers and reports to the VP of Product. Work involves ETL/ELT pipelines, caching strategies, data lineage, APIs, and vendor relationships.
At Going, data is our core product driver and a product in its own right. Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) is the team that runs it like an internal platform business: your product is the unified stream of flight data; your customers are our internal product and feature teams, and your ultimate end-users are millions of subscribers who rely on us for timely, hyper-relevant flight deals.
We're hiring a systems-thinking Senior Technical Product Manager to lead a cross-functional team of senior Data and Backend Engineers. You'll own the charter and roadmap for how Going acquires, pipelines, and engineers high-quality datasets that power Going's core products. This requires building the resilience and diversification that reduces our dependence on any single data source, and turning that data into a product every downstream team can build on without re-solving it themselves. You’ll report to the VP of Product.
