    The full posting

At Relativity Space, we’re building rockets to serve today’s needs and tomorrow’s breakthroughs. Our Terran R vehicle will deliver customer payloads to orbit, meeting the growing demand for launch capacity. But that’s just the start. Achieving commercial success with Terran R will unlock new opportunities to advance science, exploration, and innovation, pioneering progress that reaches beyond the known.

Joining Relativity means becoming part of something where autonomy, ownership, and impact exist at every level. Here, you're not just executing tasks; you're solving problems that haven’t been solved before, helping develop a rocket, a factory, and a business from the ground up. Whether you’re in propulsion, manufacturing, software, avionics, or a corporate function, you’ll collaborate across teams, shape decisions, and see your work come to life in record time. Relativity is a place where creativity and technical rigor go hand in hand, and your voice will help define the stories we’re writing together. Now is a unique moment in time where it’s early enough to leave your mark on the product, the process, and the culture, but far enough along that Terran R is tangible and picking up momentum. The most meaningful work of your career is waiting. Join us.

    About the Team:

The IT Department at Relativity Space designs, builds, and maintains the technology ecosystem that powers our organization. At Launch Complex 16 (LC-16), our responsibilities are critical to mission success. We ensure seamless infrastructure operations across the Launch Control Center (LCC), the Horizontal Integration Facility (HIF), and the launch pad. We provide secure, high-performance computing environments that support mission control, vehicle integration, and engineering field operations. Our team safeguards critical systems and data through proactive security measures and compliance enforcement, ensuring mission readiness at every stage of the countdown. We deploy and support the hardware and software that enable our launch engineers to communicate efficiently and transfer data instantly across the Cape. With a focus on high availability, rapid response, and continuous improvement, we provide the foundation for launch cadence and technical excellence.

    • Set up, image, and deploy laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
    • Manage user account provisioning/deprovisioning, including onboarding and offboarding support
    • Maintain IT asset inventory and track equipment across the Cape site
    • Troubleshoot basic network, printer, A/V, and conferencing issues
    • Escalate complex issues to Systems/Network Administrators as needed
  • Document recurring issues and resolutions in the ticketing system
  • Support IT needs for new hire onboarding, office moves, and site events
  • About You:

    • 1+ years of experience in a help desk, desktop support, or IT support role (internships count)
    • Working knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems
    • Basic understanding of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, VPN, printers)
    • Experience supporting end-user hardware (laptops, mobile devices, peripherals)
    • Familiarity with ticketing systems (Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar)
    • Strong customer service orientation and clear communication skills
    • Ability to lift/move IT equipment and work on-site at Cape Canaveral, FL
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain any required site access/security clearances for a launch facility

Nice to haves but not required:

    • Experience supporting IT in an aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial/launch site environment
    • Exposure to Active Directory / Azure AD (Entra ID) user management
    • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools (Jamf, Intune, or similar)
    • Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash)
    • Relevant certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
    • Experience with AV/conferencing systems setup and troubleshooting
    • Familiarity with physical security systems (badge access, CCTV) common at secure launch facilities
    • A genuine interest in space, launch operations, or aerospace manufacturing
