What You Will Do
- Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters across multiple cloud providers and edge locations.
- Own infrastructure automation for cluster provisioning, configuration, upgrades, and recovery.
- Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform/OpenTofu and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
- Build and operate secure runtime environments for customer workloads, including containers, microVMs, and ephemeral sandboxed workloads.
- Improve cluster reliability, observability, and capacity as the platform grows across providers and regions.
- Build out Prometheus metrics and alerting for infrastructure and platform observability.
- Harden workload and network isolation, and help define security boundaries for running untrusted customer code.
- Participate in on-call and troubleshoot problems across Linux, containers, Kubernetes, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of hands-on Kubernetes experience in production, including cluster-level operations and troubleshooting.
- Strong Linux and container fundamentals.
- Infrastructure-as-code and automation experience with tools such as Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible.
- Experience working with at least one major cloud provider and an understanding of cloud networking, compute, and storage.
- Experience diagnosing production issues across multiple layers of the infrastructure stack.- Security mindset: you think about attack surfaces, tenant isolation, and running untrusted workloads safely.
