    • Own the impact of the software you create over its complete lifecycle including architecture design, implementation, testing, and support. Incorporate learnings from real-world deployments to drive continual improvement.
    • Develop tools where needed to support testing, performance monitoring and troubleshooting of the systems that depend on your software.
    • Build prototypes and manage experiments to prove out key design concepts.
    • Innovate next-generation networking technologies to direct data through an ever-changing network of satellites, ground stations, and users.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements.
  • Experience with security issues associated with distributed systems and internet services.
  • Deep understanding of service provider networks including but not limited to: Connectivity (Ethernet, IPv4, IPv6 and MPLS) Routing (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) Internet services (subscriber provisioning, BRAS, DNS, DHCP, NTP) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You will also receive access to comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan, short and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, paid parental leave, and various other discounts and perks. You may also accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation and will be eligible for 10 or more paid holidays per year. Employees in Washington State accrue paid sick time in compliance with state and federal law.
