Job Description
- Implement, assess, and remediate DISA STIGs on Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems.
- Validate compliance using STIG Viewer, SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC), Evaluate-STIG, and similar tools.
- Administer and troubleshoot DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, and Active Directory services on Windows servers.
- Support VMware ESXi, Omnissa Horizon VDI, and Dell thin client environments.
- Perform Linux command-line administration, server patching, security hardening, and configuration management.
- Support Red Hat OpenShift and GitOps workflows as needed.
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation of system configurations, STIG findings, remediation steps, procedures, and infrastructure changes.
- Collaborate with co-workers, users, technicians, and cybersecurity teams to resolve technical issues and maintain compliance with applicable DoD and NIST standards.
