Fourier · HQ
Full-time Senior Electrical Engineer at Fourier to design high-power AC-DC systems over 100 kW and DC-DC/AC-DC converters up to 50 kW, from concept through lab bring-up and validation. Work includes single line diagrams, protection and isolation design, high-power PCB layout in Altium, and simulation in LTspice, PLECS and Matlab Simulink. Also involves setting up a power electronics lab and supporting UL/CE certification.
Fourier is working on making on-site Hydrogen universally accessible. Our breakthrough architecture enables highly modular and fully automated electrolyzers that scale to any size and optimize efficiency at all loads. We are on a mission to transition the global energy landscape towards a purely sustainable and emission free future.
About the Role
We are looking for a full time Sr. Electrical Engineer to work on the design and development of high power electrical systems, from early ideation through architectural decisions, circuit implementation, and lab validation. You will own the design of power converters and their integration into our electrolyzer system, and play a hands-on role in bench-top bring-up, testing, and verification of your designs. You will also be responsible for setting up a lab for power electronics development and prototyping. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering rigorous, well-documented designs and understands that clear electrical documentation and uncompromising safety practices are as critical as the designs themselves.
