Manager – Engineering

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager – Engineering based in Canada.

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a talented team of software engineers responsible for building and maintaining critical Internet infrastructure and digital platforms. In this hands-on leadership role, you will combine technical expertise, people management, and delivery ownership to develop reliable, scalable, and secure backend services. You will guide architectural decisions, oversee engineering execution, and contribute directly to technical problem-solving and production systems. Working closely with Product, Operations, QA, Design, and engineering leadership, you will translate business priorities into effective technical solutions. You will also drive improvements in development practices, system performance, and engineering productivity through modern technologies and AI-assisted tools. This is an opportunity to shape essential Internet services while developing high-performing teams in a flexible, remote-first environment.
