Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of DevOps to lead our operations teams at WitnessAI. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement in development and operations processes. This role involves both managing a team and being actively involved in both architectural and hands-on technical work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership and Development:Lead, mentor, and manage a team of DevOps / SecOps / MLOps engineers / IT Engineer.Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment
• Technical Expertise:Design and be part of implementing multi cloud highly scalable enterprise microservice infrastructureOversee the automation of infrastructure deployment and managementEnsure the reliability and performance of enterprise production environmentsDeploy development services and integrate with enterprise security infrastructureHelp insure successful customer deploymentsStrong knowledge of cloud and enterprise networking architectureCompliance background - experienced with SOC2Enable developer productivity
• Infrastructure Management:Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)Manage operational cost modelImplement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutionsEnsure security and compliance standards are met across all systems, with a focus on AI security solutions
• Project Management:Effective planning, coordination, and execution of DevOps sprints and initiativesWork closely with stakeholders to align DevOps goals with business objectives

Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:Proficiency in scripting languages / shellCoding helpful / solid debugging skills essentialStrong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker) in cloud environmentsFamiliarity with observability patterns, monitoring and logging tools
• Soft Skills:Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Salary range:

$257,000 - $325,000 (The exact salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and relevant skills.)
